Teaching Students Success (TSS)

Teaching Students Success (TSS Tutoring Program)

Teaching Students Success (TSS) is a peer-to-peer tutoring program which targets students who need academic support.  This program offers students the opportunity to complete assignments, prioritize work, and organize materials with a trained student tutor.  Student tutors are selected based upon their positive attitude, good work ethic, and willingness to help others.  The Teaching Students Success program helps our at-risk students succeed by offering the resources necessary to complete assignments and manage time.     Tutoring Sessions: Tuesdays and Thursdays during ROAR/part of lunch and attendance is required.  TSS offers students the opportunity to work with a tutor and to have the support needed to become more successful with their classes.  Every student participating in this program must have their parent sign a permission letter.  Tutors help students with assignments, and work with the same students throughout the quarter.     If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact our guidance staff at (949) 234-5922.
